Matthew Malone
President and Chief Executive Officer
Matt Malone became President and CEO of Graham Corporation in June 2025. He joined Barber-Nichols in 2015 as a Project Engineer focused on rocket engine turbopump design and development. He was promoted to Navy Program Manager in 2018, overseeing key U.S. Navy programs. Mr. Malone was appointed Vice President of Operations of Barber-Nichols in 2020. He began his career at GE Transportation where he held a variety of engineering and management positions. Mr. Malone earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with honors in design optimization from Pennsylvania State University and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Christopher J. Thome
Vice President - Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer
Christopher Thome became our Vice President - Finance and Chief Financial Officer in April 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Thome served as Corporate Controller for Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AMOT). He brings nearly 30 years of experience in finance and accounting leadership, audit, public company financial reporting, treasury, operational accounting, and shared services implementation. From 2006 to 2020, Mr. Thome held progressively advancing roles at Integer Holdings (NYSE: ITGR) including Senior Director – Treasurer and Senior Director – Financial Reporting, Treasury Operations and Shared Services. He was previously Vice President – Reporting and Investor Relations Manager with First Niagara Financial Group. Mr. Thome began his career as a Senior Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Mr. Thome, a Certified Public Accountant, earned his B.S. in accounting at Canisius College and his Executive M.B.A. at the University at Buffalo SUNY.
Mike Dixon
Vice President and General Manager of Barber-Nichols
Mike Dixon became Vice President of Graham Corporation and General Manager of Barber-Nichols beginning in June 2025. Prior to this role, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing since August 2021. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the Company's technical capabilities and securing major contracts in the space and aerospace, and defense sectors. Prior to joining the Company, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Sundyne and began his career at ESS Metron. Mr. Dixon holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
William Zmyndak
Vice President and General Manager
William Zmyndak was appointed our Vice President and General Manager of Graham Manufacturing in April 2026. Previously, Mr. Zmyndak served as Vice President and General Manager at ITT Control Technologies, where he led operations across multiple U.S. and international locations and drove margin expansion, operational excellence, and growth initiatives. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Kaman Aerosystems, Chromalloy, Barnes Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney.
Mr. Zmyndak brings more than three decades of manufacturing and operational leadership experience, including senior leadership and P&L responsibility across complex, multi-site aerospace and industrial businesses. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.
Matthew Gross
Vice President and General Manager
Matthew Gross joined Graham Corporation’s leadership team as Vice President and General Manager, where he leads the FlackTek™ business. He is the former CEO and Co-Founder of FlackTek™ and an entrepreneur and materials engineer with over a decade of technical and executive leadership experience, with a track record of translating deep engineering innovation into scalable, commercial success. Mr. Gross holds seven patents and has led the development and commercialization of multiple advanced product platforms serving global markets.
Prior to co-founding FlackTek™, Mr. Gross served as a Materials Engineer at Ball Aerospace, where he contributed to cutting-edge materials research for space and defense applications. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
